This introductory study in philosophy will provide students with a basic understanding of the nature and aims of philosophy, an acquaintance with some representative philosophical problems and current philosophical issues, an introduction to the methodology of philosophical inquiry, and a mastery of some of the terminology employed in philosophical discussion.
