Welcome to this research guide for Communicating Christian Faith in a Pluralistic Society. This guide will help you find resources that you can use for your course project and CRA paper.
This course develops five basic paths to Christian faith and familiarizes students with the four world religions, besides Christianity, with the largest number of adherents: Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and folk religions—as well as the contemporary forms these religions have taken. It also examines the three most common Western worldviews—modernism, postmodernism, and alternative spiritualities. Each lesson provides recommendations from ministers and missiologists for reaching the adherents of these religions and worldviews.
Global University does not necessarily agree with all the views represented in the resources in this guide. These are provided for the student to contrast and compare with the Biblical text and ideas presented in the Global University IST.
Hi! My name is Josh Havens. I am the professor for the Communicating Christian Faith in a Pluralistic Society course. Feel free to ask any question you might have about the course. This short document explains the theory and practices behind the Global University Instructional Design that seeks to approximate the interaction of a classroom professor with students.
