This course is designed to introduce the student to the spiritual, private, and public worlds of Muslim women as a prelude to reaching them with the message of life. The author investigates barriers preventing the spread of the gospel among Muslims. Emphasizing the need to be well acquainted with the world of Muslim women to minister effectively, she presents biblical models of witness that build trust and community in which the gospel can be heard and received. Muslim women represent a major area of potential for reaching into the community of Islam. Because of cultural restrictions, reaching Muslim women requires dedicated, Spirit-filled, and trained Christian women. This course is a major contributor of such training.

Hi! My name is Louise Ho. I am the professor for the Women in Islam course. Feel free to ask any question you might have about the course. This short document explains the theory and practices behind the Global University Instructional Design that seeks to approximate the interaction of a classroom professor with students.
Louise Ho has been in cross-cultural ministries since 1972, serving in many Asian countries as well as in Europe. She has an M.A. in Intercultural Studies from the Asia Pacific Theological Seminary in the Philippines. She has served as teaching faculty at the Bible College of Malaysia and at the Azusa Theological Seminary in Amsterdam, Netherlands. She joined the faculty of Global University in June 2017. Louise is passionate about missions and seeks to motivate and equip students to cross geographical, cultural, and language boundaries to effectively fulfill the Great Commission.
