Introduction

Welcome to this research guide for Introduction to Buddhism. This guide will help you find resources that you can use for your course project and CRA paper. You can either search on your own using the search tools from the drop-down list at the left or choose the pre-selected sources from the drop-down list at the left. The How-To page provides answers to some frequently asked questions. Be sure to take a look at the Writing Helps page. This course seeks to introduce you to Buddhism and help you recognize Buddhist influence and ideas worldwide, as well as in your own context. Additionally, this course will provide you with a basis to begin identifying and understanding the key issues and life questions Buddhists seek to fulfill through their practice and ways to share with them the good news of Jesus Christ. Global University does not necessarily agree with all the views represented in the resources in this guide. These are provided for the student to contrast and compare with the Biblical text and ideas presented in the Global University IST.
