MIN4033 A Strategy for Church Growth

Welcome!

Welcome to this research guide for A Strategy for Church Growth. This guide will help you find resources that you can use for your course project paper. There is a wealth of available literature on the subject of church growth. I have categorized a few of those resources in this guide.  You are welcome to discover more that you can use in your paper.

This course deals with the spiritual, cultural, and social dynamics of church growth. It is primarily for pastors, church leaders, and missionaries, although lay workers and ministerial students will also find it helpful. The student will study church growth strategy, see examples of that strategy applied under varying conditions, and learn how to make a diagnostic study of a local church to discover causes of growth or lack of growth. The emphasis of the course is the practical application of the textbook’s principles to the student’s particular field of labor. The study questions and project are designed toward this purpose.

Global University does not necessarily agree with all the views represented in the resources in this guide. These are provided for the student to contrast and compare with the Biblical text and ideas presented in the Global University IST.
