MIS2012/3 The Bible and Missions

Welcome!

Welcome to this research guide for The Bible and Missions. This guide will help you find resources that you can use for your course project and CRA paper.

This course is a biblical study of the missionary task of the church. It focuses on world evangelism and discipleship. Emphasis is on the lost condition of mankind and God’s plan of redemption. The church is presented as the agency God uses to accomplish worldwide missions purposes. The student is introduced to the spiritual resources available to the church for this task. Biblical illustrations focus on the church’s involvement in missions as well as on individual involvement that emphasizes commitment and responsibility.

Global University does not necessarily agree with all the views represented in the resources in this guide. These are provided for the student to contrast and compare with the Biblical text and ideas presented in the Global University IST.
