BUS2102 Church Business

Welcome!

Welcome to this research guide for Church Business. This guide will help you find resources that you can use for your course project and CRA paper.

This course is an introductory study of many of the principles, procedures, and techniques used in today’s business world as they apply to the local church and its leadership. Pastors, church business administrators, and other church leaders will find the problem-solving approach to these subjects of practical value. The student is introduced first to the organizing and staffing functions of the church that enable it to do business effectively. The student is then shown practical methods of raising money for the church’s expenses, financing the church for business. Other emphases include the importance of keeping good records and ideas on better management of the church’s money, facilities, and equipment.

Global University does not necessarily agree with all the views represented in the resources in this guide. These are provided for the student to contrast and compare with the Biblical text and ideas presented in the Global University IST.
