Welcome to this research guide for Introduction to Missions. This guide will help you find resources that you can use for your course project and CRA paper.
The orientation of Introduction to Missions is both biblical and contemporary. The course takes an international approach to missions. This approach is supported by the strong biblical view and treatment of missions in the course. The Bible’s teaching on missions is outlined through use of both Old and New Testaments. Two missions themes, international and biblical, are treated throughout the course: those of the redemptive people of God and Christ’s strategy of missions. Christ’s Great Commission is presented as an authoritative model for a strategy of missions today. The course is designed to be of practical use in the life and ministry of the student. The missions principles and teachings from the Bible are focused on contemporary issues, in order to assist the student in: (1) responding personally to missions, (2) teaching others about missions, and (3) solving current missions-related problems in his own country.

Hi! My name is Louise Ho. I am the professor for the Introduction to Missions course. Feel free to ask any question you might have about the course. This short document explains the theory and practices behind the Global University Instructional Design that seeks to approximate the interaction of a classroom professor with students.
Louise Ho has been in cross-cultural ministries since 1972, serving in many Asian countries as well as in Europe. She has an M.A. in Intercultural Studies from the Asia Pacific Theological Seminary in the Philippines. She has served as teaching faculty at the Bible College of Malaysia and at the Azusa Theological Seminary in Amsterdam, Netherlands. She joined the faculty of Global University in June 2017. Louise is passionate about missions and seeks to motivate and equip students to cross geographical, cultural, and language boundaries to effectively fulfill the Great Commission.
